Accommodation

Accommodation is available in one of seven fully equipped chalets.
There are a 2 bed chalet, three 3 bed chalets, two 8 bed chalets a 6 bed chalet available.

All towels and bedding are provided.
The 6 bed and 8 bed chalets have a separate kitchen and lounge.

The smaller units are bachelor units containing a kitchen, small bathroom and sleep/lounge area.
The kitchens are fitted with a microwave, kettle, small fridge,"braaipan" and a basin. (No stove) All crockery and cutlery are also provided.
The bathroom is fitted with a basin, shower and toilet. Swimming towels are not provided.
Outside is a small "stoep" with a table and each chalet has its own braai facility.

All the chalets are serviced on a daily basis.
All the chalets are fitted with an aircon.
Cell phone reception is poor but available.
Parking for vehicles is provided under shade cloth.
Wooden decks and dams separate the chalets.
Some of the dams are not filled in the dry season.
The chalets are situated on an island in the rainy season.
Maroela is a large communal dining / kitchen area that can provide for large dining parties
and can seat up to 60 persons.
It also provides a large boma where one can relax around a large fireplace.
